Best combined with a darker bean for espresso drinks...
My opinion people...
As someone who has tried many, many coffees trying to get the perfect blend, I have found that the Lavazza Crema e Aroma is the best base from which to start on a custom blend. It is a delicious straight espresso, but I feel it is a little raw, thin, and light for espresso based drinks like lattes and cappucinos. For that, the best combo is two parts Crema e Aroma and one part Java Joe's Espresso Adoration. For the most delicious tase and best crema, this is the route to go. If you like a more heavy, almost chocolatey flavor, try it 50/50. For those wanting to cut back on the caffiene, try the Crema a Aroma mixed 2 to 1 with the Starbucks decaf espresso roast. It adds just the right touch of over-roasted bean to give more depth to your espresso-based drinks. For my ultimate mix, I actually combine the Crema e Aroma, Java Joe's, and two other coffees. No, I cant tell you all the secrets, my friends may read this! You'll just have to come by for a cup.

great coffee
I bought this to try in my espresso machine at my restaurant. While the espresso i was using did fine for the milky cappucino and latte drinks, this coffee was noticably superior in my fav drink, a shot of espresso, and a 1/2 $ 1/2 creamer. So if you do shots, or are not happy with your current brand, i'd recommend giving this one a shot.. Wait til they rn a special though (which seems to be often) for a nice savings.

This Was OK
But maybe a little disappointing. Frankly I got better crema and aroma from "Super Crema" and "Pienaroma" beans, to which I'll probably go back. The flavor is pretty mild.
I'm using the beans in a Rancilio Rocky grinder and Silvia espresso machine.
