These batteries have been really good for high drain devices. CD Player, mp3 player, etc. AA, AAA work great. 15 minute charge is wonderful for the digital camera. They hold their charge and have been a great item for us!

I bought the charger and six batteries in March of '04. They worked just as advertised. The charger went south fairly soon. However, RayOVac replaced it free, no questions asked. The second charger worked pretty good for about a year, then it began not to charge batteries in certain bays. I didn't use it for a long time and recently discovered it doesn't work at all anymore. I'm not disappointed. Three and a half years is pretty good service out of anything these days. I went to Long's Drugs and tried to buy new batteries. They don't carry them anymore. They had a close-out special on the chargers and I got the last new one for $9.99. It included two fresh batteries. They charged with no problem and hold the charge well. The old batteries will charge in the new charger, but almost instantly lose the charge in one use. I see the price here is far below list, so it may be that what's being sold is old or close-out merchandise. Another brand seems to have replaced this item on the store shelves.

Customer Rating: - Rapid re-charge batteries
Rayovac developed these batteries several years ago as part of a program to revitalize the company. They are somewhat more expensive than most rechargeables but the rapid re-charge feature more than justifies the price. In addition to the rapid recharge feature their 2300 mAh capacity insures very long life. I've been able to take over 400 photos on a Fuji S3100 and still have some charge left. Since these are NiMH batteries the user does not have to worry about battery memory - just give them a charge and go. I would guess my first set has been recharged around 250 times. They have shown no sign of deterioration so far. This product is a winner.
