Not unusually noisy
After reading reviews both on Amazon and elsewhere, I almost did not purchase this shaver because of the reported noise levels. I do not find it much, if any, louder than the Braun I have been using. Does a good job shaving and I am satisfied with the quality for the cost.

Close and comfortable
I've owned many Remington razors over the years and have always been pleased with the close, comfortable shave. In just the past year, I had the opportunity to try a Braun for several months and thought I would see if there was something better on the market. Not a chance. I went back to my Remington and tossed the Braun. The Remington even does a nice job on the tough neck area. Electric razors are individual choices and this one is the best I have found.

Good Value
Delivers a very good shave and at a reasonable price. This is a Consumer Reports recommended item, and I am glad I purchased it.

This shaver cheap, unreliable, and just just plain no good.
After having this product about 1 week i dropped it from approximately 10 inches. I dented the weak "titanium" microscreen and had to order new ones at 30 dollars a piece. I soon realized that I was running out of charge extremely fast and noticed that when i was plugging the unit in it was not charging (completely separate and unrelated to the 10 inch drop). I would have to wiggle the charging plug back and forth several times before the charging light would come on. Eventually after about 2 months this razor refused to charge and to the trash it went. A month later my Remington haircutter also died, NOT IMPRESSSED. I've had my less powerful Norelco electric razor for over 6 years and I've never had a problem. Also the rubberized outside button is very cheap and could easily get torn or ripped, as for the "titanium" finish on the outside its just a cheap paint job. OVERALL i think im done with remington.
