Just got this. You fill the base with water. I filled it as much as I could, but it doesn't bounce back up that well, sometimes not at all. Anyone have the same experience?

the first one we got split after only a few days but we were sent a new one right away. this one has had lots of abuse from 3 kids and after a few months it is still holding up strong.
