Editorial Product Review:

Amazon.com Item Description:
Presenting the world's first computer/speedometer designed to fit on any baby stroller--the Strollometer. This 8-function, wireless marvel helps you get the most out of what you're already doing: strolling. With an easy strap-on, strap-off design, The Strollometer is the must-have accessory for any new mom looking to get back into shape after pregnancy.

Want to get back into shape after having a baby, but can't find the time? One solution--do more of what you're already doing. Stroll.

Adi Weber, co-inventor of the Strollometer, with her kids.
Made by Parents, for Parents
Co-invented by Adi and Don Weber, the Strollometer is the product of parents who wanted to get more out of their strolls.

Our inspiration for the Strollometer came about one month after I gave birth to our third child, Deena. I would often take my daughter on strolls in an attempt to squeeze in a good workout while she napped. Unfortunately, I never knew how far I went, how fast I strolled, or whether my 'workout' would ever measure up to the workouts I was familiar with at my gym. Nothing designed for bikers or walkers gave me the information, accuracy or ease I wanted.

The idea for the Strollometer was born. And by designing it from the ground up, we made sure it could easily strap-on to any stroller--whether it's traditional, all-terrain or jogging.

Happy strolling! -- Adi
How it Works
The Strollometer features easy-to-read display screens that help you keep tabs on your stroll:

Current Speed: Like a treadmill, you always know how fast or how slow you're strolling. Feeling good? Why not pick up the pace?

Maximum Speed: You powerstroll through the neighborhood. A nice flat stretch is up ahead...you pick up the pace...But make sure you jog or run only with a jogging stroller.

Average Speed: You stroll for 50 minutes at an average speed of 4 mph. You feel great. Tomorrow try strolling a touch faster.

Trip Distance: No more retracing your route with your car to see how far you've gone. You stroll for two and a half miles. Why not make it an even three?

Trip Time: Time flies when you're on a stroll. Why not add an extra 15 minutes and feel even better?

Daily Mileage: You run errands. You spend the afternoon at the mall. You run more errands. Was it a day without exercise? Hardly. Today's tally: 2.6 miles and counting.

Ambient Temperature: You walk into a restaurant and suddenly it hits you: this place is cold. You glance at your Strollometer. Yup, time to pull out the blankie.

Clock Time: Baby yoga at 10. Lunch date at noon. Pediatrician at 3. You've got the current time--whether your Strollometer is on or off.

Easy to Install
The Strollometer is wireless and straps-on, straps-off any stroller. Just follow these simple steps and you'll be up and strolling in seconds:

Strap console band onto stroller handlebar.

Slide console onto band.

Place adhesive-backed magnetic strip onto outermost edge of the rear wheel.

Strap on stroller leg and position sensor over magnet.

Buyer Reviews
Average Buyer Rating: out of 5 stars

Customer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Purchase!
I love my Strollometer. I alternate using it on my BOB Duallie and Bugaboo. I downloaded cheat sheets from the Strollometer website on how to mount the sensor on my strollers. Not only was it easy to install, it's extremely durable and the data I receive is fantastic! My Strollometer has stood up to many miles including some rough terrain while using my BOB. Bottom line - great purchase, love using it and highly recommend it.

Customer Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Broken piece of junk
I bought this to install on my Schwinn jogging stroller. And the plastic pieces snapped and broke as soon as I tried to install it. Cheap, flimsy piece of junk. The manufacturer should have spent an extra dollar building it stronger so it could be installed without breaking. There goes that 40 bucks...

Customer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Invaluable Tool for Race Training!
The strollometer has helped greatly in working to get back into shape after baby. The distance, pace, and time displayed on the console are invaluable for training as you can truly gauge your workout. My husband also loves the strollometer for his strolls with the baby, it definitely sees daily use on our stroller.

Also, the customer service at the company is great! Prompt, courteous and customer centered.

Customer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Wonderful!!!
I purchased the Strollometer about 9 months ago and I couldn't be happier! I have used this on 4 different strollers, yes I said 4! I have used it on a Maclaren umbrella stroller, Joovy Caboose, BabyTrend Double Jogging stroller and now currently a Phil & Ted Sport with Doubles Kit. I still have the magnets on all the strollers and just swap out the other parts depending on what stoller I am using. The customer service has been great! They always promptly answered my questions and even sent me some more magnets when I added more stollers to my collection. This is really great now that I am doing Stroller Strides, even my instructor is impressed with the quality! It is great to know how much you are walking when running daily errands, and reprograming is really easy and just gets easier the more that you get used to it.
