Editorial Product Review:

Item Description:
People are serious now. They’re going to the gym and changing their diets. Hundreds of thousands of people are working on turning back their biological clocks, doing the exercise that can put off up to 70% of the typical decay associated with aging and eliminate 50% of the illnesses that afflict people as they get older.

Now, to make that promise even easier to achieve, comes the Younger Next Year Journal. This is a needed recordkeeper for every trip to the gym, or better yet, bike vacation or ski trip. Beginning with a short introduction to working out the Younger Next Year way—how to use a heart rate monitor, why keeping a journal is important, how to look at exercise as your new job—here is a 224-page fill-in book with prompts that help you keep meticulous track of your workouts, your heart rate, your diet, how you feel, how you’ve reached out to others, and more. In addition, the journal is filled with motivational tips from Chris Crowley—don’t skimp on leg weights, treat yourself to the best equipment, how to get your Significant Other to work out with you—and medical Q&A’s from Dr. Henry Lodge, covering the science of aging, low-fat diets, and more.

Customer Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - incorrect item
Hi,I WISH TO INFORM YOU THAT I AM IN RECEIPT OF THE INCORRECT ITEM ORDERED. I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING EXTREME DIFFICULTY, TRYING TO REMEDY THE ONGOING SITUATION.....PERHAPS YOU CAN ASSIST ME IN MY ENDEAVOURS....THANKING YOU IN ANTICIPATION....MICHAEL DALY

Customer Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Concise, easy to use, and helps keep me focused on information learned in reading the book. Thanks, Chris and Harry!
Enjoyed the easy to read information to shake me out of my lethargy. Love the premise-- but I will be happy if I just slow down the aging a bit.

After reading the book, I really like the format of the journal to keep me focused. Wish I could have Harry for my gerentologist.

Thanks, Chris and Harry!

Customer Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - TOO SMALL
I like the basic idea of the book and do use it, but the journal entry tables are WAY TOO SMALL!! There is not enough room to enter a basic weights regimen, too little space for diet info and WAY too little space in the ideas section.

Customer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - "Now I Get It"
This is a daily journal that will help you track your progress with eating, exercising and life-style, such as social activity, etc. It is easy to use and an indispensable companion to a great book "Younger Next Year" which also comes in a special edition for women. Highly recommend using the journal faithfully, because it will show you why your program is working - or why it is not!

Software Reviews

Usually we're fans of Logitech's gaming mice, but its highest-end G9 Laser Mouse is expensive, overly complex, and lacks the ergonomic thought we've come to expect. If you like to brag about dot-per-inch limits, perhaps the G9's 3,200dpi laser will be enough to sell you, but for the price, we expect the design to match.

While compact and convenient, Panasonic's SD-based SDR-S150 camcorder doesn't make the quality cut.
